"I’ve learned more in these last 3 lessons than I have in several years.
I've seen many people do incredible things with horses but as with every profession, just because you’re an expert and amazing at what you do, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a great teacher. Relaying your expertise into digestible, practical concepts that others can use and learn from, is really an art and talent all of its own. Especially with riding, which is for a large part based on feeling, it is often difficult to describe to others what subtle body cues are essential to get a desired response from the horse. But you do it so well!!! You see the small changes in the horse and rider and can point them out in an understandable and applicable way. And the immediate improvement in the horse's behavior when I follow those cues only more confirms how in tune you are with the horse and rider. Through his sensitivity and patience and your excellent cues and advise, I feel for the first time in a while, like I’m actually improving myself again as a rider. Plus I have an absolute blast doing it!"
