APRIL 28-MAY 3 | MUSTANG GENTLING EXPERIENCE
CWH Ranch in Ponder, Texas
Dont miss this incredible 6-day immersive experience working with and learning how to gentle wild, untouched mustangs! You'll work hands with 'your' horse for the week gaining their trust and teaching them the essential skills to be successful in their new domesticated life setting them up for an amazing future. During your experience you'll be working on everything from first touches, to teaching to lead, building a meaningful partnership, beginning of handling their feet and their confidence in accepting saddle pads, ropes, flags, trailer loading and more. This opportunity is for those who are looking for a special experience with horses and that are serious about developing their horsemanship. 

Throughout the week you'll learn Colton's process to developing the essential skills and partnership necessary to set these mustangs, and any horse you work with in the future, up for success. Participants need to understand these days can be long and while this experience is extremely special, it requires participants being able to be on their feet all day in the elements. 

This experience is limited to 5 participants.
Tuition: $2500

CWH will provide some meals throughout the experience. Participants are responsible for their own lodging and transportation to and from the ranch. We will provide you with nearby accommodations past participants have stayed at and enjoyed.

MAY 6-11 | PROFESSIONALS ONLY COLT STARTING CLINIC
CWH Ranch in Ponder, Texas
If you are an established or aspiring professional wanting to go much deeper into the art of the Colt Starting Process, here is your chance. Over the course of this week you will work hands on with a wild mustang learning and teaching them the essential steps and skills to be prepared for their very first rides and actually putting those first rides on your mustang. You'll have the opportunity to learn and dive deep into the mental, physical and emotional develop that is critical at this stage of a horse's education. This is for those dedicated to the craft of horsemanship, who are confident, secure and knowledgeable riders, and who share common values to putting the horse first, properly preparing them and aiming for smooth, uneventful yet deeply meaningful first rides to set that horse for a lifetime of success.

MAY 27-31 | PROFESSIONAL HORSEMAN'S SCHOOL: FOUNDATION HANDLING COURSE
CWH Ranch in Ponder, Texas
This course covers the essential must-know Handling Practices, Ground Work Skills and Practical Knowledge to prepare each student with the understanding, awareness, skills and experience to safely and effectively handle horses, prepare them for the most common situations horses face in domesticated environments and know how to get tasks done in a pinch.

JUNE 3-7 | PROFESSIONAL HORSEMAN'S SCHOOL: FOUNDATION RIDDEN COURSE
CWH Ranch in Ponder, Texas
The Foundation Ridden course teaches students the essential hands-on training skills and knowledge necessary to ensure a horse has a solid foundation in their education setting them up for success regardless of breed, age or discipline desired. This course covers training horses both in the Round Pen and Under Saddle (Ridden) to develop a solid foundation, builds on the Foundation Handling Course and prepares both students and horses for the PHS Obstacle Trails & Versatility Course.

JUNE 3-7 | PROFESSIONAL HORSEMAN'S SCHOOL: FOUNDATION RIDDEN COURSE

The 3 Core P's of the Professional Horseman's School is Partnership, Purpose & Performance. Throughout the Obstacles, Trails and Versatility course students will develop the hands on experience necessary to successfully put meaningful purpose to the Foundation Ridden and Ground Work skills they teach each horse they work with. Students will learn how to properly prepare, introduce and build their horse's confidence in navigating obstacles faced both in the arena, out of the trail and throughout life.
