This is our introduction for the 2019 KY Extreme Mustang Makeover event!

Tag #6511 is Colton’s random draw for the Kentucky Extreme Mustang Makeover. The competition will be held the third week of June 2019 and Colton will have approximately 120 days to work with this wild horse to prepare her for the competition and life as a domesticated riding partner. This horse is a 5year old black mare from Maverick-Medicine HMA in Nevada.

The Extreme Mustang Makeover events are truly 'Makeovers' for a reason. They take strategic planning, understanding the rules, requirements, expected skills come competition time and more. When it comes down to the final week before the competition some crucial mistakes can be made. Colton works with Tag #6511 (name TBD), his randomly assigned mustang, and manages to prepare her for the first time he has got on her. It is day #4. They have approximately the next 100 days to get made over in preparation for the Extreme Mustang Makeover in Lexington, KY. Tag 6511 is a 5yo Black mare from Medicine-Maverick, Nevada where she was captured in February 2018 and picked up almost exactly a year later in February 2019 for the EMM.
