Spring Tune Up & Colt Starting Clinic

It is our priority that each horse and participant leave this clinic feeling confident, understanding, relaxed and prepared for their journey ahead. We will be diving deep into developing a solid foundational education in both horse and human that will serve you wherever your journey may take you in and out of the arena.

Whether you have a horse that has been sitting all winter and needs to knock the rust off before the nice spring weather rolls around or you have a colt to be started under saddle, this clinic is for you and your horse.

Five Full Days of In-depth, Practical and 1 on 1 Instruction and assistance from Colton Woods.

This Clinic is Hands On and we will dive deep to ensure each participant and horse is confident, understanding, relaxed and having fun. Colton will be here to help guide you and even work with your horse directly when necessary, but this clinic is here to help you and your horse develop the mental, physical and emotional skills, connections and understandings that you will need as a partnership to continue progressing and navigating all future endeavors.

Our facility is equipped with an Indoor Arena and Round Pen, so weather will not be an issue.

Participants can expect to cover: - Foundation Ground Work - Round Pen exercises - Confidence building with Obstacles - Foundation Ridden Work and anything else that will help our horses progress in their education.

Clinic is limited to 6 participants only.

We recommend horses arrive the afternoon/evening of March 9th to ensure a timely start the next morning.

Stabling is provided and stall will bedded down with shavings and two water buckets.

Reserve your spot with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the clinic (February 24th). Deposits are nonrefundable. If a participant is not able to make it after signing up they may carry their deposit to a future CWH 2021 Clinic, only if they notify CWH at least two weeks prior to the start of the clinic. Cancellations within two weeks of the clinic date will not be eligible to be carried forward to a future clinic.
