February 19-21 / Introduction to Liberty Clinic

In the winter months, Liberty is a fantastic way to add variety to your horses work and has very practical applications that can drastically improve our horse's ground and ridden work. Whether you have a yearling or a steadily going performance or sport horse, Liberty provides the horse the opportunity to refine their focus and understanding on the slightest of details, offers a fun atmosphere and predictable steady progression that can accelerate their confidence. For the human, integrating Liberty work is a prime opportunity to build our awareness of body position, energy, clarity in communication and understanding as well as build an incredible connection with our horse.

This is a 3 Day Clinic (Friday-Sunday) from 9am-4pm each day.

 Weather is no obstacle as we are equipped with an Indoor Arena & Round Pen.

Over the course of the 3 days we will work with our horses to establish a strong foundation of the Liberty Concepts. This will range from learning specific skills such as Mark Training, to refining and enhancing specific ground work that directly correlates to how we will communicate with our horse at liberty as well as exercises in the round pen and more.

This is a small group format clinic that will be extremely personal and individualized to each horse and person. Colton will work 1 on 1 with you throughout the weekend so you can ensure you will head home with a strong understanding and plan for how to continue your liberty success beyond the clinic.

Participants are welcome to show up Thursday evening or Friday Morning prior to the start of the clinic.

Stabling is provided and stall will bedded down with shavings and two water buckets.

Reserve your spot with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the clinic (January 29th). Deposits are nonrefundable. If a participant is not able to make it after signing up they may carry their deposit to a future CWH 2021 Clinic, only if they notify CWH at least two weeks prior to the start of the clinic. Cancellations within two weeks of the clinic date will not be eligible to be carried forward to a future clinic.
